Welcome! I'm Cora, and photography is in my DNA.

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest by a professional photographer Dad and an art teacher Mom. Our family adventures in and around Puget Sound instilled in me a love and appreciation for Washington's untamed beauty – a gift my husband and I are passing on to our daughters.

Growing up with a wedding and architectural photographer for a Dad meant my sister and I often had a camera lens pointed at our faces. It wasn't long before I caught the photography bug and took my place behind the camera. Photography jumped from hobby to full-blown obsession with the purchase of our family's first digital camera, a first generation Nikon Coolpix. The rest is history.

I am passionate about capturing moments - big and small - macro and micro. From four-legged family members to newborn babies, I take as much time and care needed to "get the shot."

Photography is a form of meditation for me. Seeing the world through a lens forces me to slow down and soak it all in. My care and approach to capturing images is the same, whether I'm documenting a trip to Europe with my family, or an afternoon walk on a local beach.
